It was cute and enough to keep me captivated of course
I tried to read it in one sitting started it yesterday. I love to travel and
with an amount of intrigue but this was just what I needed to level out my
weekend. I couldn’t even imagine meeting someone like Carl today who could
charm my socks off without touching me was a personal reminder of being a widow
and being single today 🌹

Sarai Mathews is a fantastic heroine. Not only is she an astronaut, but she's also a supernatural creature with the ability to breathe underwater. I love stories that draw from myths I'm not familiar with, and this African based origin story fit the bill. Add in a dreamy love interest in the form of fellow Gaiian and fashion designer Jon Luc and the book takes the shape of a classic romance. Bad guys close in while mysteries are unraveled and Sarai and Jon Luc's attraction smoulders. Highly recommend to any fan of romance with paranormal elements.

Black Panther's Got A Competitor

The story is a beautifully imagined tale of a super race among us. The Gaians. Drawn from African and Caribbean tales of Gods. I loved the concepts and the adventure. This is a sequel to Daughter of the Missing which I read a couple of years ago but is a fully stand-alone read.
